Language is an actual barrier
Dai came to Australia as a refugee from Vietnam with her mother and a sister. She immediately noticed the difference in language and culture. She reflects on her schooling and how welcoming the kids were to all of them.

Even for professional migrants, networking is difficult
Eliiott wanted to live with locals, other migrants, not just the migrants from his own country. He had an advantage in language however still found networking to be difficult.
